Mary Tomanek of Smith Barney went over our financial statements for the quarter.  She spoke about the new law pertaining to the Sudan and the requirements that will go along with it.  Our money managers are going to have to sign off on the restrictions and Mary is still unsure if both managers will do this.  She also advised that Smith Barney will be holding a training session on February 14th.   She said that it will be held in DesPlaines and she will get back to us with the time it will be held.

President Kappler advises there are a couple officers that want to transfer their time from IMRF to our pension fund.  We are currently working this out with our actuary and accountant. The cost will be about $100.00 dollars for the accountant and an unknown amount from the actuary.  The board will absorb this cost.  We did the same for officers taking part in portability.

The IPPFA will be hosting a training day on January 27, 2006.  President Kappler and Secretary Moehrlin will be attending.

A motion to adjourn was made at 840pm by President Kappler and seconded by Tom Ahlbeck.  All were in favor – motion passed.
